Egypt is one of the top destinations chosen by kitesurfers. It is world renowned due to it’s year round wind and turquoise, flat waters, both of which make it a perfect place for beginners and experienced riders alike.
The country itself is a wonder of ancient architecture combined with modern living and of course, fab weather! It has a population of 82 million, half of which live near the banks of the Nile. The other half live in the densely populated cities of Cairo, Alexandria and the Nile Delta. The sheer size of the country means that the kiting resorts are away from the Pyramids, but there are still plenty of wonders to see closer to home. Luxor is a few hours drive away which boasts the Valley of the Kings and the Carnac Temple among others.
All of the kitesurfing resorts in Egypt are based around the Red Sea- meaning the waters are clear, shallow and flat. The climate is nearly always dry and generally in the cities, the tourist high season is December to February and the low is the summer, but nearer the coasts the year round high temperatures and sunshine appeal to watersports enthusiasts and sunbathers alike. Egypt is easily accessible from the UK by a wide range of airlines and there are plenty of hotels to choose from- making it an affordable destination for all different types of travellers.
The resorts we offer are the main kitsurfing resorts in Egypt- these are Hurghada, El Gouna, Soma Bay, Abu Soma, Dahab and Nabq
